Our hotel offers a great location as well as comfort and a cosy atmosphere. In 2024, 21 rooms will be available for the time being, while in 2025 the number will be increased to 57, you can also look forward to a beach bar, a restaurant and a pool in 2025. Each of our rooms, from double rooms to junior suites, has been designed with the utmost care to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In addition to a charming breakfast corner and modern facilities in all rooms, we promise you a stay full of relaxation, Italian hospitality and cosiness.

In summer 2024, the ananea Tropea Yachting Resort will open its doors under the “ananea” brand (soft opening on 1 July 2024). Here, lifestyle meets casual elegance and Mediterranean minimalism, promising a unique holiday experience. Our resort, which is located directly on the harbour of Tropea, offers the perfect starting point for both adventurers and those seeking peace and quiet. The historic old town, which can be reached via picturesque steps, and the crystal-clear sea, just a few minutes’ walk away, invite you to explore.

Don’t miss the highest point of the city, the pilgrimage church of Santa Maria dell’Isola, which is located on a rock not far from the center of Tropea. The panoramic views from the top are truly breathtaking and well worth the climb. Nearby is the old town center of Tropea, with traditional houses and ancient ruins that will take you back to Byzantine times. Stroll through the narrow streets, visit the remains of the ancient walls, towers and the city gate, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
Tropea is just 60 kilometers from Lamezia Terme airport and is located directly at the coast. Places worth seeing such as Pizzo are 30 km away, Scilla 85 km and Reggio Calabria 111 km.

For sun seekers swimming in the sea promises almost Caribbean flair.
The view from the historic town center above the turquoise bay is unique. Tropea offers a variety of water sports and activities, including excursions to the still active volcano “Stromboli”, which can be observed at night with its glowing eruptions, also a trip to the small Aeolian Islands is worthwhile. Excursions to the surrounding areas are also perfect to so explore the region with typical southern Italian flair, especially when you make the most of it and hire a rental car. A trip to the beautiful town of “Pizzo”, where the world-famous tartufo ice cream was invented, is also special excursion that should be on your bucket-list. In terms of culinary delicacies, dishes with the obligatory “cipolla rossa” (red onion) and hot chili peppers are traditional.
